so we fall from the tree

we whispered our flutes into their clue

i saw the devil in his eye
a fire where a lotus sank and died

that's when we fell from the tree
on the anemone
I kissed the bruise on your knee

"oh, don't you dare tell anyone
my life has just begun, and yours will be done"
i fell from what he said
and the fall should've made me dead
but it just stained the flowers red
